Pune: There is a need to prevent discord spread in the name of religion and politics and promote mutual respect and brotherhood among all communities, stated Dr. Indresh Kumar, Patron of Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM), during a significant seminar organized by the organization in Pune.
The seminar, titled “Muslim Society: Past, Present, and Future,” focused on the faith, social status, and administrative participation of the Muslim community. The event was held at MCCIA Hall, Tilak Road, Pune.
Discussion on the Role of the Muslim Community
The seminar facilitated an in-depth discussion on the faith, social status, and administrative participation of the Muslim community. It was organized by the Western Maharashtra Wing of the Muslim Rashtriya Manch and witnessed the participation of a large number of office bearers and activists.
Key Dignitaries Present
The event was graced by National Coordinator Shri Irfan Ali Peerjade, Shri Javed Ansari, Dr. Aftab Anwar Shaikh, Shri Tahir Asi, and Shri Javed Sheikh, among other prominent figures.
Message of Harmony and Coexistence
Dr. Indresh Kumar emphasized that India’s core message is respect for all religions and mutual harmony. He stated that every individual should have the freedom to practice their faith while also respecting the religious beliefs of others.
He particularly urged political leaders and religious scholars to foster an environment of love and harmony instead of division and hatred. Reiterating the essence of India’s cultural fabric, he stressed that while individuals should have complete freedom to follow their religious practices, they must also uphold respect and acceptance towards other faiths.
