Empowering Sports Leaders: IIM Rohtak Welcomes 6th Batch of ePGDSM
Rohtak, Haryana: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Rohtak, the only IIM offering the prestigious Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Management (ePGDSM), inaugurated the 6th batch of this unique program on December 12, 2024. The ceremony featured distinguished guests, including Mr. Shiv Prakash Singh, Managing Director and CEO of Shiv Naresh Sports Pvt. Ltd., as the Chief Guest, and Shri Sunil Kumar, Indian wrestler and Asian Games 2022 bronze medalist, as the Guest of Honor. Adding to the event’s significance was the launch of the book “Sports Management” by Prof. Dheeraj Sharma, Director of IIM Rohtak.
The event witnessed the presence of over 350 attendees, including students and faculty members, as it marked the beginning of a transformative academic journey for the new cohort.

The ceremony commenced with a traditional lamp-lighting, followed by a welcome address by Prof. Dheeraj Sharma. Prof. Sharma highlighted IIM Rohtak’s commitment to advancing India’s sports culture through specialized education.
