Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jayanti Celebrated at Savitribai Phule Pune University
The birth anniversary of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule was commemorated at Savitribai Phule Pune University with great respect and enthusiasm. The event brought together university officials, faculty members, staff, and students to pay tribute to the legendary social reformer.

The program was organised in the esteemed presence of the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Suresh Gosavi, keynote speaker Dr. Arjun Dangle, and Acting Registrar Prof. (Dr.) Prafulla Pawar. Several distinguished guests also attended the event, including Ms. Charushila Gayake, Dr. Vijay Khare, Dr. Supriya Patil, Dr. Sanjay Tambat, Dr. Vilas Adhav, Dr. Harsh Jagzhap, Dr. Raju Ghode, Dr. Karishma Pardeshi, Mr. Krishna Bhandalkar, Dr. Sunil Bhanage, Dr. Ganesh Bhamre, Dr. Savita Kulkarni, Dr. Mujanji Rasve, and Mr. Pradip Koli.

A floral tribute was offered at the statue of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule in recognition of his immense contributions to social reform, women’s education, and the fight against caste-based discrimination. The gathering reflected on his visionary ideas and enduring legacy, which continue to inspire efforts toward equality, inclusivity, and educational empowerment.
