Flavorful Celebration Marks Food Festival 2026 at Savitribai Phule Pune University
The School of Education, Department of Education and Extension, Savitribai Phule Pune University organized a vibrant and colorful Food Festival on 23rd and 27th February 2026, celebrating the diversity and richness of Indian cuisine.

The two-day event brought together students, faculty members, and guests in an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm and cultural pride. The campus came alive with the aroma of traditional spices and delicacies, as participants showcased their culinary talents and cultural heritage through a variety of regional dishes.

Stalls offering popular favorites such as vada pav, crispy dosas, and sweet gulab jamuns attracted large crowds throughout the festival. Cooking competitions and live demonstrations added excitement and encouraged creativity among participants. A major highlight of the event was the traditional theme presentation, where students dressed in ethnic attire and introduced dishes representing different regions of India, reflecting the country’s rich culinary diversity.
