“Minority Institutions Must Transform Diversity into Strength—We Are Indians First”: Dr. Indresh Kumar

A prestigious National Conference on “Role of Minority Educational Institutions in National Unity, Cultural Diversity, and Nation-Building: Viksit Bharat @2047” was successfully organized jointly by the National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions (NCMEI) and Islamia Degree College, Deoband, marking a significant step toward reinforcing the role of education in India’s nation-building journey.
The conference brought together eminent academicians, policymakers, administrators, and educationists to deliberate on how minority educational institutions can contribute meaningfully to national unity, cultural diversity, and inclusive development, aligned with the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047.

Chairing the conference, Dr. Indresh Kumar, Mentor, Muslim Rashtriya Manch, underscored the transformative potential of minority institutions in strengthening national integrity. Addressing the gathering, he stated, “Minority institutions must transform diversity into strength—we are Indians first.”

The Chief Guest, Prof. (Dr.) Shahid Akhtar, Officiating Chairman, NCMEI, highlighted the unifying power of education, remarking, “Education must forge unity by harmonizing culture, language, and diversity into the nation’s greatest strength.”

The conference was further enriched by the presence of Special Guests, including Prof. Vimala ji, Vice-Chancellor, Maa Shakumbhari University, Saharanpur, and Col. Tahir Mustafa, Registrar, Jamia Hamdard, who shared valuable insights on higher education, governance, and inclusive academic growth.
