Deliberations on the Role of Minority Educational Institutions in Viksit Bharat @2047

Under the joint auspices of the National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions (NCMEI) and the Minority Welfare Department of the Government of Uttar Pradesh, a grand programme on Viksit Bharat @2047 was organized recently in Lucknow on the theme “The Role of Minority Educational Institutions in National Unity, Cultural Diversity, and Nation Building.”

The programme was chaired by Dr. Indresh Kumar, Patron of the Muslim Rashtriya Manch. Mr. Danish Azad Ansari, Hon’ble Minister of State, Government of Uttar Pradesh, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Prof. Dr. Shahid Akhtar, Executive Chairman of NCMEI, attended as the Guest of Honour, while Prof. Naima Khatoon, Vice-Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University, was present as the Special Guest.

In his address, Dr. Indresh Kumar stated that minority communities are not tenants in the country but equal stakeholders and rightful partners. Emphasizing education as the foundation of a developed India, he underlined the crucial role played by minority educational institutions in nation building.

Chief Guest Danish Azad Ansari remarked that “education is the cornerstone of a developed India” and stressed that minority institutions must take a leading role in reaching education and opportunities to the last person in society. He also highlighted various state government schemes and encouraged minority youth to connect with education, skill development, and start-up initiatives.
