2. NMAT (NMIMS Management Aptitude Test) by GMAC
This MBA entrance exam is also popular among the other entrance. It was administered by GMAC (Graduate Management Admission Council)in the year of 2015, after that 8 changed its name to NMAT by GMAC. The computer-based entrance exam consists of 108 multiple choice questions that need to be solved in two hours. This exam is divided into three main sections. The first one is language skills, and then it is quantitative skills, finally ends with logical reasoning.
In these Covid-19 times, this exam allows the students or the candidates to appear for this exam from home. The condition is that the examination will be conducted in a proctored mode that means the candidates are to be investigated through online mode. The entrance exam is candidate friendly since it allows the aspirants to appear on the test for3 times and the final score will be two chosen from the best of the three scores.
The eligibility for appearing NMAT exam is 50% score with minimum 3 years of graduation degree. The exam fee is Rs2000 for every category.
3. XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test)
This computer-based and Trans exam is registered by the XLRI (Xavier Labor Relations Institute) Jamshedpur. This is also a popular management exam that is I peered way around 100,000 students. Around 900 institutes across the country accept the score of XAT.
This exam is divided into four sections. First is a quantitative ability, second comes the English language and logical reasoning, and the third is decision making. Finally, the exam ends with the section on General Knowledge.
The eligibility criteria for this exam are any student having a bachelor degree can appear. It is also applicable for final year candidates. The fee for appearing the test is Rs1700 irrespective of caste.
4. ATMA (AIMS Test for Management Admissions)
Acharya Institute of Management and Sciences (AIMS) is a private institute that administered this national level entrance exam for management. The result of this exam is accepted by several business programs across the country in around 600 institutes. The duration of the exam is 180 minutes.
The exam is divided into three different sections and six different parts. The first one is the analytical reasoning skills and its two parts. The second is the quantitative skills and its two parts. And third are the verbal skills and its two parts.
The bachelor degree holders satisfy the eligibility criteria for a appearing this test. A fee of Rs1298 is required.
5. MAT (Management Aptitude Test)
This top management entrance exam and its score are accepted in around 700 Universities. The MAT exam is administered by the AIMA (All India Management Association). Further, the exam is divided into five different sections. The five subjects are the Indian environment and global environment, mathematical skills, sufficiency and analysis of data, critical reasoning and intelligence, and language comprehension.
The exam is held four times a year and is held in three different modes. The first is the PBT (paper best test) mode and then comes the CBT (computer – based test) mode and finally the IBT (Internet – based test) mode. The exam consists of 200 questions and the duration is 2 hours 30 minutes.
Candidates having any bachelor degree can appear by providing fees of Rs1550.
6. MAH-CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test)
This entrance examination comes in the state-level category and is administered by the directorate of technical education in the state of Maharashtra. The exam is held once a year specifically in the month of March. The question paper includes 200 questions which are needed to be solved in 2 hours and 30 minutes. This exam opens the gates forgetting admitted to reputed institutes in Maharashtra. The test is divided into three sections. Starting with verbal ability and reading comprehension then comes quantitative aptitude and finally ends with abstract reasoning.

7. SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test)
This is a national-level management exam that is administered by Symbiosis International University. The exam is held once a year specifically in the month of December and the registration for the test is done between the month of August and November. The duration of the test is 120 minutes and is the mode of examination is CBT (Computer Based Test).
The question paper is divided into three different sections. The first one is General English;the second one is Quantitative data sufficiency and interpretation. The section finally ends with logical and analytical reasoning.
Graduates with minimum 50% score and final year students are eligible for this exam. The exam fee is Rs1750.
8. GMAT (Graduate Management Aptitude test)
This is a very important exam for getting admission into foreign universities since the university in abroad accepts the GMAT score. The exam is administered by GMAC (Graduate management admission council). This council is a global association of top business schools across the world. The exam is a machine adaptive test that increases the difficulty level after each correct answer. With the increase of the difficulty level, the score of each question increases. The total duration of the exam is 210 minutes.
The exam is divided into four sections. First is the analytical writing assessment, following up with integrated reasoning. The third comes to the quantitative aptitude and ends with verbal reasoning.
For appearing in this exam, the candidate is required to have a bachelor degree from a reputed university. The exam fee is very high since it charges Rs15, 000 to Rs16, 000.
9. IIFT (Indian Institute of Foreign Trade) exam
This entrance examination is administered by NTA (National Testing Agency) and the score of this exam is only valid for getting admitted into the IIFT. The exam mode is online and it is conducted in over 200 cities. The paper consists of 100 to 140 multiple choice questions and the duration of the exam is 120 sections.
The exam is divided into four sections to test the aptitude of the student. The first section includes English comprehension. The second section covers the general knowledge and awareness subject. Then comes logical reasoning and the exam finally ends with the section of quantitative analysis.
Any graduate can apply for this exam. The price for appearing in this exam is Rs1550 (for general and OBC) and R775 (for SC/ST/PH).
10. MICAT (MICA Admission Test)
This exam is conducted by MICA (Mudra Institute of Communications), Ahmedabad. The question paper consists of both subjective and objective questions which are needed to be solved within 165 minutes. There is no negative marking for the psychometric and descriptive sections of the paper.
The question paper is divided into six different sections. It starts with verbal ability followed up by quantitative ability. The third section includes the subject of general awareness. Then comes the section of divergent and convergent thinking. The last two sections include storywriting and psychometric test.
The eligibility criteria for this exam are different from others. Here the graduates from reputed universities are accepted and they must have appeared in at least one of the MBA exams such as GMAT, XAT and CAT. Price for appearing is Rs1985.
11. CMAT (Common Management Admission Test)
This is a national level entrance exam that is conducted by AICTE (All India Council for technical education). The difficulty level of this exam is low when compared to CAT. The question paper includes 100 MCQs which are needed to be solved within 180 minutes. The marking system incorporates 4 marks for every correct answer and a deduction of 1 mark but every incorrect answer. There is no negative marking for questions that are not attended.
The paper is divided into 5 different sections that include the subjects of data interpretation, language comprehension, general awareness, Logical reasoning and quantitative techniques.
Final year students and graduates with a minimum 50% mark are eligible for this test. Only a 45% score is required for the eligibility of reserved categories. The exam phase is Rs1400 for general and Rs700 for reserved candidates and females.
12. TISSNET (Tata Institute of Social Sciences National Entrance Test) exam
This is an institute level entrance exam for admission into all Masters programmers provided in MHAT Calicut, TISS-Mumbai, IMHST Chennai, G-SET Ranchi, etc. In paper have four sections which are needed to be completed within 100 minutes.
The subjects are maths, English proficiency, social sensitivity and logical reasoning.
Any bachelor degree holder from a recognized university is eligible for this exam. The fee is Rs 250.
13. OJEE (Odisha Joint Entrance Exam) for MBA
This state-level MBA entrance exam is administered by the Odisha government. The duration of the exam is 2 hours and the question paper consists of 120 questions.
The paper is divided into five sections. The first one is verbal reasoning followed up by analytical reasoning. Second comes general knowledge followed up my comprehension. And the paper finally ends with computer and business fundamentals.
The candidate must have graduated from a recognized university with at least a 50% score. The exam fee is Rs1000.
14. KIITEE (Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Exam)
This is a national level entrance exam administered by the KIIT University. The exam is conducted in CBT mode for a number of courses including MBA at KIIT School of Management and MBA of Rural management at KIIT School of Rural Management. The question paper includes 150 questions and the duration of the exam is 2 hours 30 minutes.
The question paper is divided into 5 sections. It starts with quantitative aptitude following analytical reasoning. The next two subjects are English and general knowledge. The final section is related to the issue of social concern.
The candidate must have secured a minimum of 50% score from any graduation to apply for this exam. To register and apply for this exam, a fee of Rs1250 is required.
15. IBSAT (ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test)
This institute-level exam is administered by ICFAI Foundation for higher education. Its score is required for admission into different programs off PhD and MBA. Since this is an institute-specific entrance examination, it only allows getting admitted to the campuses of IBS (ICFAI Business School) At 9 different locations across the country- Bangalore, Mumbai, Gurgaon, Ahmedabad Jaipur, Dehradun, Pune, Kolkata and Hyderabad. The paper includes 140 multiple choice questions which are needed to be finished within 120 minutes.
The mode of the examination is IBT (Internet-based test) and the question paper is divided into four different sections. The first one is verbal ability followed up by reading comprehension. The third one is quantitative aptitude and the end section is data adequacy and data interpretation.
English medium candidates holding a bachelor degree with a minimum of 50%marks are eligible for the examination. The exam fee is Rs1800.
