Campus Cleaning Drive at Savitribai Phule Pune University

Savitribai Phule Pune University organized a campus cleaning drive in which teachers, students, and non-teaching staff actively participated.

As part of the initiative, the area surrounding the statues of eminent personalities on the university campus was cleaned, with participants collecting plastic waste and other litter to promote cleanliness and environmental responsibility.

The drive was graced by the presence of the Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Suresh Gosavi, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Dr. Parag Kalkar, and the Director and Head of the Department of Lifelong Learning and Extension, Prof. Dr. Vilas Adhav. Several heads of departments and faculty members also took part, including Dr. Sangeeta Sawant, Dr. Amit Dordade, Dr. R. S. Pandit, Prof. Vaishali Khairkar, Dr. Vinod Gosavi, Shivaji Uttekar, Santosh Madane, Ashish Varpe, and Sachin Bankar.

A large number of teachers, non-teaching staff, students, and representatives of student organizations, including Rahul Sasane, enthusiastically participated in the drive, reinforcing the university’s commitment to cleanliness, civic responsibility, and environmental sustainability.
