The Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today shared an article highlighting India’s efforts to end child marriage with clear policies, sustained action, and grassroots initiatives.
Responding to a post by Union Minister Smt Annapurna Devi on X, the Prime Minister said:
“केंद्रीय मंत्री श्रीमती @Annapurna4BJP जी लिखती हैं कि कुछ साल पहले तक बाल विवाह को समाप्त करने का विचार दूर की कौड़ी, यहां तक कि असंभव नजर आता था। लेकिन भारत ने अपने प्रयासों से दिखाया है कि इसे जड़ से खत्म किया जा सकता है। हमने स्पष्ट नीतियों, निरंतर कार्रवाई और जमीनी कोशिशों से साबित कर दिखाया है कि चाहें तो हर बदलाव मुमकिन है।”
