{"id":9196,"date":"2025-10-13T14:25:27","date_gmt":"2025-10-13T08:55:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theeducationoverview.in\/?p=9196"},"modified":"2025-10-13T14:25:27","modified_gmt":"2025-10-13T08:55:27","slug":"indian-army-contingent-departs-for-india-australia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theeducationoverview.in\/?p=9196","title":{"rendered":"INDIAN ARMY CONTINGENT DEPARTS FOR INDIA- AUSTRALIA"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"text-center event-heading-background\">\n<h2 id=\"Titleh2\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>INDIAN ARMY CONTINGENT DEPARTS FOR INDIA- AUSTRALIA<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<h3 id=\"Subtitleh3\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong><span id=\"ltrSubtitle\"><br \/>\nJOINT MILITARY EXERCISE AUSTRAHIND AT AUSTRALIA<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"PrDateTime\" class=\"ReleaseDateSubHeaddateTime text-center pt20\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Posted On: 12 OCT 2025 1:48PM by PIB Delhi<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"pt20\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>An Indian Army contingent comprising 120 personnel departed yesterday for Irwin Barracks, Perth, Australia, to participate in the fourth edition of the India- Australia joint military Exercise AUSTRAHIND 2025, scheduled to be conducted from 13<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0to 26<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0October 2025.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>The Indian Army contingent is being led by a Battalion of Gorkha Rifles along with troops from other arms and services.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>The annual Exercise AUSTRAHIND 2025 is aimed at enhancing military cooperation, improving interoperability and providing a platform for participating armies to exchange tactics, techniques and procedures in the domains of sub conventional warfare in urban\/ semi urban terrain.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>The exercise will focus on joint company level operations in open and semi desert terrain, wherein troops will undertake missions ranging from joint planning, tactical drills and special arms skills.
