Department of Telecommunications concludes Swachhata Hi Seva 2025 Campaign<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Launches Implementation Phase of Special Campaign 5.0<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Department of Telecommunications (DoT) celebrated Swachhata Hi Seva 2025 campaign from 17.09.2025 to 02.10.2025 with the theme\u00a0\u201cSwachhotsav\u201d<\/em>. The campaign facilitated large scale advocacy and citizen participation for Swachhata, cleanliness drives with focus on cleaning of Cleanliness Target Units (CTUs) across the country. The campaign attracted active participation of officers and staff of DoT HQ, attached offices, subordinate offices, field units and public sector units.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Various events such as walkathons, poster making competitions, tree plantations, Swachhata pledges, SafaiMitra Suraksha Shivirs were organised across DoT\u2019s field offices across the country advocating campaign\u2019s commitment to cleanliness, sanitation and safety.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

In response to the call for a simultaneous nationwide\u00a0shramdaan<\/em>\u00a0event, under\u00a0\u201cEk Din, Ek Ghanta, Ek Saath,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0all officers\/officials of various PSUs\/Subordinate Offices\/Field units participated on 25.09.2025 in large numbers to contribute in\u00a0shramdaan<\/em>\u00a0activities and also encourage citizens to contribute towards a cleaner and greener society.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The conclusion of the\u00a0Swachhata Hi Seva<\/em>\u00a0Campaign also witnessed the launch of implementation phase of\u00a0Special Campaign 5.0\u00a0with a cleanliness drive at DoT HQ and a commitment to resolve pending public issues & other related matters.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Department of Telecommunications is actively participating in Special Campaign 5.0. During the identification phase of the campaign (up to 30.09.2025), the Department has already identified targets on disposal of pending MP references, State Government References, Public Grievances, PG Appeals, Parliamentary Assurances etc. The Department has set target to review\/weed out 22,168 physical files and dispose of following pending matters:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Public grievances Appeals: 555<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Department has identified more than 450 campaign sites across pan India under its organizations\/ field offices\/ PSUs during the campaign to resolve pending matters.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Department of Telecommunications remains committed to fostering a culture of cleanliness, efficiency, and citizen-centric governance. With the successful culmination of Swachhata Hi Seva 2025, the Department now moves forward with renewed focus into the implementation phase of Special Campaign 5.0, aiming to ensure timely disposal of pending matters and improved service delivery across its network nationwide.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
