This solemn wish remained unfulfilled for decades until August 2003, when Gujarat\u2019s then-Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi undertook a historic initiative to bring his ashes back from Geneva, Switzerland.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>This initiative, he noted, honoured the memory of a courageous son of Maa Bharti and reaffirmed India\u2019s commitment to preserving the legacy of its freedom movement.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>The Prime Minister expressed hope that more young Indians will read about Shyamji Krishna Varma\u2019s life, his fearless pursuit of justice, and his unwavering dedication to India\u2019s independence.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Responding to a post by Modi Archive handle on X, Shri Modi said:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>\u201cThis thread highlights a very satisfying effort undertaken about two decades ago, thus
