Dr. Satya Prakash, Additional Secretary, briefed the gathering on the day-by-day action plan, which included:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>\u00b7 Special cleanliness drives and Shramdaan in Ministry premises.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>\u00b7 Inspections of cleanliness and upkeep by senior officers.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>\u00b7\u00a0<em>Swachh Air<\/em>\u00a0initiative with CPWD (Horticulture) providing indoor plants for sections and officer cabins.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>\u00b7 Employee engagement activities, including a\u00a0Rangoli-making competition.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>\u00b7 Health check-up of Safai Mitras at the Parliament House Medical Centre.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>\u00b7 Felicitation of Safai Mitras and a closing ceremony to honour their contribution.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.pib.gov.in\/WriteReadData\/userfiles\/image\/image002X8BJ.jpg\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.pib.gov.in\/WriteReadData\/userfiles\/image\/image003AHOV.jpg\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.pib.gov.in\/WriteReadData\/userfiles\/image\/image004CSNU.jpg\" \/><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>On\u00a025<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0September,\u00a0as part of the nationwide campaign, the Ministry organized\u00a0<em>\u201cEk Ghanta \u2013 Ek Din \u2013 Ek Saath Shramdaan\u201d<\/em>\u00a0at Jain Happy School, Gole Market, New Delhi. The event was led by Union\u00a0Minister of Parliamentary Affairs &amp; Minority Affairs, Shri Kiren Rijiju,\u00a0who motivated all participants to make Swachhata a part of daily life and administered the\u00a0Swachhata Pledge\u00a0to officers, school management, and students. On this occasion, Safai Mitras were felicitated for their dedicated service, and prizes were distributed to the winners of the Rangoli-making competition. While addressing the gathering, Dr. Satya Prakash inspired everyone not to confine Swachhata to this fortnight alone but to practice it as a year-round habit.
