INDIAN ARMY TO HOST UNITED NATIONS TROOP CONTRIBUTING COUNTRIES\u2019 (UNTCC) CHIEFS CONCLAVE IN NEW DELHI<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

The Indian Army will host the\u00a0United Nations Troop Contributing Countries\u2019 (UNTCC) Chiefs Conclave\u00a0in New Delhi from\u00a014 to 16 October 2025, bringing together senior military leadership of over\u00a030 nations\u00a0that are key contributors to United Nations peacekeeping operations.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

A Curtain Raiser was organised at Manekshaw Centre, New Delhi on\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 01 October 2025.\u00a0Lt Gen Rakesh Kapoor, DCOAS (IS&T), briefed about the modalities of conduct of the upcoming Conclave. He underlined the significance of the Conclave as a unique platform for UN Troop Contributing Countries to foster dialogue, cooperation and mutual understanding. He highlighted India\u2019s steadfast commitment to UN peacekeeping, the nation\u2019s role as one of the largest troop contributors and the Indian Army\u2019s readiness to share its operational experience, innovations and best practices. He expressed confidence that the Conclave would pave the way for deeper collaboration, collective preparedness and stronger partnerships in addressing contemporary peacekeeping challenges.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

As one of the largest and most consistent contributors to UN missions, India is convening this Conclave to provide a high-level forum for sharing\u00a0best practices, fostering common understanding and creating a collaborative approach to chart out the future trajectory of peacekeeping. The event underscores India\u2019s enduring commitment to global stability and reflects its ethos of\u00a0Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam<\/em>\u00a0(the world is one family).<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Aim and Focus<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Conclave aims to\u00a0reinforce collective commitment to global peace and security.\u00a0Deliberations during the Conclave will focus on:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

  • Strengthening peacekeeping cooperation\u00a0through enhanced dialogue, interoperability and exchange of best practices.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
  • Leveraging indigenous technology and Atmanirbhar innovations\u00a0to make peacekeeping missions more resilient, cost-effective and future-ready.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
  • Championing inclusivity and equity\u00a0by advocating for a greater voice for troop contributing countries in UN decision-making structures.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
  • Demonstrate India as a collaborative and a trusted partner\u00a0to build capacities and capabilities towards shared responsibility for maintaining international peace.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Participation<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    Chiefs and representatives from nations across the world will attend. Algeria, Armenia, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brazil, Burundi, Cambodia, Cote D\u2019Ivoire, Ethiopia, Fiji, France, Ghana, Indonesia, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Madagascar, Malaysia, Mongolia, Morocco, Nepal, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Uganda, Uruguay, Vietnam, Rwanda and Senegal, apart from India are among the participating countries.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    • Special spouse programmes, to build military resilience through family engagement.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        The UNTCC Chiefs\u2019 Conclave 2025 will stand as a\u00a0testament to India\u2019s commitment to global peace.
