This historic initiative seeks to empower tribal youth across India to emerge as leaders, innovators, entrepreneurs, and agents of social transformation as part of the ongoing\u00a0<em>Janjatiya Gaurav Varsh<\/em>\u00a0(15 November 2024 \u2013 15 November 2025).<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.pib.gov.in\/WriteReadData\/userfiles\/image\/image001PGNW.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Carrying forward this vision, the Ministry of Tribal Affairs today formally inaugurated the\u00a0Adi Karmayogi Student Chapters\u00a0at prestigious institutions such as IITs, IIMs, AIIMS, NITs, and other top-class universities, marking the beginning of a nationwide youth-led movement to foster leadership, innovation, entrepreneurship, and social development among tribal students.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>The\u00a0Bhagwan Birsa Munda Cell at IIT Delhi\u00a0will serve as the nodal hub for this pan-India programme. The inaugural event was graced by\u00a0Shri Vibhu Nayar, Secretary, Ministry of Tribal Affairs, and\u00a0Prof. Rangan Banerjee, Director, IIT Delhi, along with Directors and Vice Chancellors of leading institutions across India. The Ministry continues to receive regular guidance from the Union Minister and Hon\u2019ble Ministers of State for Tribal Affairs.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.pib.gov.in\/WriteReadData\/userfiles\/image\/2PHEW.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Objectives of the Student Chapters<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Empower Youth\u00a0\u2013 Inspire students to become leaders, innovators, and social change agents.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Foster Innovation &amp; Technology\u00a0\u2013 Encourage tech-driven and indigenous solutions for tribal development.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Promote Entrepreneurship\u00a0\u2013 Enable access to the \u20b950 Crore Venture Capital Fund for tribal-led startups.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Strengthen Education\u00a0\u2013 Support EMRS and Ashram Schools through mentorship to reduce dropouts and improve learning outcomes.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Village Development &amp; Planning\u00a0\u2013 Guide students in preparing SWOT analyses, Vision 2030 plans, and actionable development strategies.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Bridge Academia and Community\u00a0\u2013 Promote adoption of villages for sustainable development.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Leadership Opportunities\u00a0\u2013 Facilitate internships and fellowships with the Ministry, State Tribal Welfare Departments, and District Magistrates.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Areas of Engagement\u00a0\u2013 Social change, policy implementation, technology for social impact (GIS, analytics), innovation, and mentorship.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Passport to Earning\u00a0\u2013 Provide industry-relevant certifications for employability and global opportunities.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Semiconductor Skill Development\u00a0\u2013 In partnership with IISc Bangalore, train tribal students in semiconductor fabrication and frontier technologies.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Recognition &amp;
