\nPASSING OUT PARADE OF 01\/25 BATCH OF AGNIVEERS AT INS CHILKA<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

The Passing out Parade (POP) of the\u00a0sixth batch\u00a0of\u00a0Agniveers<\/em>\u00a0will be conducted at\u00a0INS Chilka on 08 Aug 25\u00a0. The ceremony marks the successful culmination of ab-initio training of over\u00a02000\u00a0Agniveers<\/em>\u00a0including over\u00a0300\u00a0women\u00a0Agniveers<\/em>\u00a0, who have undergone\u00a016 weeks\u00a0of intensive and\u00a0 rigorous training.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The POP also signifies a defining chapter in the life of Agniveers as it heralds their voyage in the\u00a0Combat Ready, Credible, Cohesive and Future Ready Indian Navy. The passing out batch also comprises Senior Secondary Recruits and Naviks (General Duty).<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 Vice Admiral Rajesh Pendharkar, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Naval Command, will review the parade. Cmde B Deepak Aneel, Commanding Officer INS Chilka will be the Conducting Officer.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The post sunset ceremony will be witnessed by the proud families of the passing out Agniveers, eminent veterans and sports personalities.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

INS Chilka plays a key role in the smooth transition of the raw recruits into capable sea warriors who carry forward discipline, resilience and professional skills to serve onboard advanced Naval platforms.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

As part of the event, FOCINC East will also witness the\u00a0 valedictory function and present awards\/ trophies to meritorious trainees, the champion division and unveil the bilingual\u00a0 trainees’ magazine\u00a0‘Ankur’<\/em>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The POP will be\u00a0live streamed\u00a0on\u00a0Indian Navy YouTube channel,\u00a0Facebook page\u00a0 and\u00a0regional Doordarshan network\u00a0at\u00a01730 h on 08 Aug 25.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
