The job fair was held for facilitating placement opportunities for DGR candidates trained at NIELIT Delhi, Jammu and Ropar. 14 companies shortlisted candidates against 250+ job openings in their respective companies. More than 190 candidates had registered for the Job Fair.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.pib.gov.in\/WriteReadData\/userfiles\/image\/image001N7O6.jpg\" \/><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>The event provided meaningful employment opportunities to serving and ex-servicemen who have undergone training in various IT and emerging technology domains in NIELIT.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Dr. Alok Tripathi, Director (Scheme &amp; Skilling) and Chief Controller of Examination, NIELIT welcomed the dignitaries &amp; participants and reiterated NIELIT\u2019s commitment to bridging the gap between training and placement.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.pib.gov.in\/WriteReadData\/userfiles\/image\/image002V8JZ.jpg\" \/><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Chief Guest, Shri Subhanshu Tiwari, Executive Director, NIELIT Delhi inaugurated the fair with lamp-lighting ceremony and a motivational address. In his speech, he emphasized the role of skill-based training and placement facilitation for veterans as a national priority. He in his speech highlighted the transition from the uniform to a new professional identity is a significant and often challenging phase. At NIELIT, we firmly believe that it is our responsibility \u2013 and indeed our privilege \u2013 to support this transformation. This Job Fair is more than just a recruitment event. He also emphasized a bridge between valour and vocation, and a celebration of dedication that does not end with retirement from the armed forces. He appreciated the efforts of team NIELIT Delhi for successfully organizing the job fair in Delhi. He also acknowledged the companies who participated in the job fair.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.pib.gov.in\/WriteReadData\/userfiles\/image\/imagegghdhdghdhf003X6MQ.jpg\" \/><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Group Captain Sanjay Roy, Director (Training), DGR, and Lt Col Jaideep Singh, Joint Director (Training), DGR, were the Guests of Honour at the Job Fair 2025. Addressing the ex-servicemen participating in the Job Fair 2025, Group Captain Sanjay Roy, Director (Training), Directorate General Resettlement (DGR), emphasized the importance of continuous skill development and assured that more training programs will be conducted in the future to further enhance the employability of DGR candidates. He also commended NIELIT for organizing the job fair and providing a valuable platform for ex-servicemen to connect with reputed employers.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>The Job Fair witnessed participation from reputed recruiters, including CyberPeace, Kaidoko, G4S, RRGAURDUS, Sidhi Infonet, Stalwart Group, Trig, SiSProsegur, Onfinity Technologies and others. These companies offered positions in IT support, cybersecurity, logistics, administration, and digital services, catering specifically to the skillsets of the veteran candidates.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.pib.gov.in\/WriteReadData\/userfiles\/image\/image004SZRV.jpg\" \/><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>The event saw enthusiastic participation from former defence personnel who expressed gratitude for the support and opportunities provided.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>The Job Fair symbolized a unique partnership between government institutions and the corporate sector to empower ex-servicemen with sustainable career paths.
