{"id":4304,"date":"2025-05-27T13:52:45","date_gmt":"2025-05-27T08:22:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theeducationoverview.in\/?p=4304"},"modified":"2025-05-27T13:52:45","modified_gmt":"2025-05-27T08:22:45","slug":"8th-meeting-of-the-india-us-joint-working-group-on-aircraft-carrier-technology-cooperation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theeducationoverview.in\/?p=4304","title":{"rendered":"8TH MEETING OF THE INDIA \u2013 US JOINT WORKING GROUP ON AIRCRAFT CARRIER TECHNOLOGY COOPERATION"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"text-center event-heading-background\">\n<h2 id=\"Titleh2\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>8TH MEETING OF THE INDIA \u2013 US JOINT WORKING GROUP ON AIRCRAFT CARRIER TECHNOLOGY COOPERATION<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"PrDateTime\" class=\"ReleaseDateSubHeaddateTime text-center pt20\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Posted On: 20 MAY 2025 4:16PM by PIB Delhi<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"pt20\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>The 8th meeting of the India-US Joint Working Group on Aircraft Carrier Technology Cooperation (JWGACTC), constituted under the auspices of the\u00a0India \u2013 US Defence Technology and Trade Initiative (DTTI), was organised in India from\u00a013 to 16 May 2025.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>A\u00a0six-member\u00a0US delegation headed by RAdm Casey Moton, Programme Executive Officer (PEO), Aircraft Carriers visited various defence establishments in\u00a0Delhi and Goa.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>The opening session of the Joint Working Group Meeting was held on\u00a013 May at New Delhi, which was co-chaired by RAdm Vishal Bishnoi, Assistant Controller Carrier Projects (ACCP). During the meeting, the RAdm Casey Moton highlighted the importance of the Joint Working Group and the progress it has made over the last 10 years. Both sides appreciated the remarkable work undertaken by the Joint Working Group towards valuable information exchange on Aircraft Carriers. Plans for future co-operation under various aspects of Aircraft Carrier Technology were discussed and a\u00a0<em>Joint Statement<\/em>\u00a0was also released.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>At Goa, professional interactions were undertaken with Indian Navy\u2019s Aviation Specialists on Aircraft Carrier operations and technical aspects.
