Muruganandam, IAS, Chief Secretary, Government of Tamil Nadu, on enhancing energy security in the State of Tamil Nadu.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Other dignitaries present included Shri Prasanna Kumar Motupalli, CMD, NLC India Limited, Shri Sanjeev Kumar Kassi, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Coal, Shri Mukesh Choudhary, Director (Marketing), Coal India Limited and Shri. Dr. Alby John Varghese, IAS, Managing Director, Tamilnadu Power Generation Corporation Limited.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.pib.gov.in\/WriteReadData\/userfiles\/image\/image001WZUD.png\" \/><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>The deliberations focussed on the State\u2019s projected power demand, availability of lignite &amp; coal, and proactive measures required to meet peak load conditions during the summer and monsoon seasons.
