Chief Guest for Induction Ceremony was Cmde Manish Vig, GM (QA), ND (Mbi).<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>The contract for construction and delivery of\u00a0eleven\u00a0ACTCM Barges was concluded with\u00a0M\/s Suryadipta Projects Pvt. Ltd., Thane\u00a0on 05 Mar 21,\u00a0a MSME Shipyard. Eight ACTCM Barges have already been delivered and the shipyard has also been awarded a contract for construction and delivery of\u00a0four Sullage Barges\u00a0to the Indian Navy thereby highlighting the Indian Navy\u2019s commitment towards encouraging MSMEs.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>The Shipyard has\u00a0indigenously\u00a0designed these Barges in collaboration with an Indian Ship Designing firm and subsequently model tested at Naval Science and Technological Laboratory, Visakhapatnam, successfully to ensure seaworthiness. These barges are built in accordance with the relevant Naval Rules and Regulations of Indian Register of Shipping (IRS).
