INDIAN NAVY AND IIM NAGPUR JOINT COLLABORATIVE EFFORTS IN\u00a0NICHE MANAGEMENT DOMAINS<\/strong><\/span>

Indian Navy and IIM Nagpur signed an MoU on\u00a013 Oct 2022\u00a0to\u00a0explore\u00a0Opportunities to train, up-skill and re-skill Armed Forces Personnel, Indian\u00a0Navy personnel in particular, in emerging areas of Business Management, Financial Management, Block Chain, Project Management, Strategic\u00a0Management, Digital Marketing, Supply chain, Logistic management and\u00a0research.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0This will facilitate career enhancement\/ progression of Serving\u00a0Personnel and up skill retiring officers to meet industry requirement. A Naval\u00a0Headquarters team will shortly visit llM Nagpur to custom design executive\u00a0education programmes to meet specific requirements of the Navy. This MoU\u00a0will also facilitate reciprocal visits by Indian Navy and IIM Nagpur personnel\u00a0to respective organisations.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Speaking on the occasion\u00a0Dr Bhimaraya Ambanna Metri, Director IIM\u00a0Nagpur,\u00a0said that\u00a0IlM Nagpur will jointly collaborate with the Indian Navy to\u00a0design a bouquet of on-campus\/ off-campus program \/ workshop\u00a0in areas of\u00a0mutual interest involving the faculty & participants of full-time IIM program & Research Scholars to find innovative solutions to assist Indian Navy in\u00a0realising its dream of being Aatma Nirbhar.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Vice Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, the Chief of Personnel Indian Navy\u00a0speaking on the occasion said that the Indian Navy and Armed Forces are\u00a0looking forward to see the end results that the Joint Collaborative efforts will\u00a0bring out in the near future and vistas of opportunities\u00a0that this MoU will open\u00a0for Armed Forces personnel in general and Indian Navy personnel in\u00a0particular. He added that with conclusion of this MoU, the personnel of the\u00a0Indian Navy will maintain their connect with the zenith end of Academia to\u00a0keep Indian Navy well aware of the latest happenings in the civil world.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
