The Chintan Shivir aims to strengthen collaboration, share best practices, and develop a strategic roadmap to empower India\u2019s\u00a0Amrit Peedhi\u00a0as active partners in nation-building and advance the vision of\u00a0Viksit Bharat@2047.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.pib.gov.in\/WriteReadData\/userfiles\/image\/image001VRU3.jpg\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.pib.gov.in\/WriteReadData\/userfiles\/image\/image002MN1C.jpg\" \/><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>The\u00a0Chintan Shivir was inaugurated by Union Minister of Youth Affairs &amp; Sports Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya and Minister of State for Youth Affairs &amp; Sports Smt. Raksha Nikhil Khadse, in the presence of\u00a0Dr. Pallavi Jain Govil, Secretary; Shri Nitesh Kumar Mishra, Additional Secretary; and Shri Shiv Ratan, Joint Secretary, Department of Youth Affairs;\u00a0Dr. Priyanka Shukla, CEO, MY Bharat, and other senior officials of the Ministry, MY Bharat and the\u00a0National Service Scheme (NSS), along with representatives from various States and Union Territories.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Officials representing\u00a010 States and Union Territories, among them\u00a0Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Keralam, Andaman &amp; Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, and Maharashtra\u00a0participated\u00a0 in the deliberations.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Setting the agenda for the deliberations,\u00a0Dr. Pallavi Jain Govil, Secretary, Department of Youth Affairs, outlined the key objectives and expected outcomes of the Chintan Shivir, emphasising the importance of\u00a0integrated planning, institutional coordination and stronger youth engagement\u00a0through\u00a0MY Bharat and the National Service Scheme (NSS) platforms.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.pib.gov.in\/WriteReadData\/userfiles\/image\/image003ICKU.jpg\" \/><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Delivering the keynote address, Union Minister for Youth Affairs &amp; Sports, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, emphasised that the youth of India must not merely participate in development but become\u00a0architects of the nation\u2019s future. He stated that every young citizen should be empowered to develop their own vision of\u00a0Viksit Bharat, which requires strong\u00a0synergy, coordination, networking and continuous exchange of experiences\u00a0among institutions working for youth development.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>The Minister also suggested several measures to further strengthen youth engagement across the country. He emphasised the need to build\u00a0structured youth networks at district and block levels, including youth clubs, NSS volunteers and digital outreach groups, while strengthening\u00a0social media coordination through MY Bharat platforms. He highlighted the importance of\u00a0integrating State-level youth platforms with the MY Bharat ecosystem\u00a0to recognise and encourage youth participation. Dr. Mandaviya also called for stronger\u00a0convergence between MY Bharat, NSS, universities, State governments and district administrations, encouraging regular coordination, innovative youth activities at the State level and\u00a0monthly youth club programmes including sports and community engagement. He noted that such a collaborative ecosystem would enable India\u2019s youth to actively contribute to the vision of\u00a0Viksit Bharat@2047.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.pib.gov.in\/WriteReadData\/userfiles\/image\/image004P5WD.jpg\" \/><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Presenting the guiding vision for the Chintan Shivir,\u00a0Smt. Raksha Nikhil Khadse, Minister of State for Youth Affairs &amp; Sports, highlighted the transformative role of\u00a0youth participation and volunteerism in nation-building\u00a0and stressed the need to further strengthen\u00a0grassroots engagement through youth clubs, NSS units and MY Bharat initiatives, enabling young people to contribute meaningfully to community development and national progress.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Building upon these perspectives, the deliberations under the theme\u00a0\u201cSamvaad Se Samadhaan\u201d\u00a0focused on\u00a0cross-learning, policy alignment and experience sharing\u00a0among participating States and Union Territories. A presentation on the\u00a0Digital Youth Engagement Framework\u00a0highlighted best practices in youth onboarding and engagement through the\u00a0MY Bharat Portal, demonstrating how technology can strengthen youth participation across the country.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Further advancing the discussions, the afternoon session focused on\u00a0strategic deliberations on the Annual Action Plan (AAP) 2026\u201327 and the convergence of MY Bharat and NSS initiatives. Discussions covered\u00a0youth club sustainability, learnings from the implementation of AAP 2025\u201326, and innovative practices in youth mobilisation, with representatives from\u00a0Chhattisgarh, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and Telangana\u00a0sharing their experiences and successful models.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Summarising the day\u2019s deliberations, the first day of the Chintan Shivir concluded with a\u00a0synthesis of key insights and agenda setting for the second day, followed by a\u00a0cultural ensemble presented by MY Bharat volunteers, celebrating the spirit and diversity of youth participation.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.pib.gov.in\/WriteReadData\/userfiles\/image\/image005N4Q8.jpg\" \/><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>The\u00a0MY Bharat\u2013NSS Chintan Shivir\u00a0serves as an important platform for dialogue, collaboration and policy alignment among stakeholders engaged in youth development across the country.
