It is finding its way into everyday systems.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>The focus remained simple and direct, how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is reflecting Government\u2019s continued emphasis on\u00a0translating emerging technologies into practical public applications. Across the venue,\u00a0ideas were not just presented; they were shown, tested and discussed with real-world applications in focus.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"Picture_x0020_13\" src=\"https:\/\/static.pib.gov.in\/WriteReadData\/userfiles\/image\/image0039UMO.jpg\" \/><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>It was with hands-on spirit and open exchange, that the\u00a0AI Summit evolved beyond dialogue into a solutions-driven forum where ideas were translated into clear and practical applications. The Summit brings together\u00a0startups, researchers, industry leaders and innovators\u00a0working across different sectors. It reflects a wider national effort to turn AI research into practical solutions that can be used in transport, education, governance, infrastructure and more.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"Picture_x0020_19\" src=\"https:\/\/static.pib.gov.in\/WriteReadData\/userfiles\/image\/image0048L6C.jpg\" \/><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Coaching with AI<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>As visitors step into the exhibition hall, a group of students gathers around a screen displaying a study dashboard.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>The platform is\u00a0SATHEE (Self Assessment, Test and Help for Entrance Exams), an initiative of the\u00a0Ministry of Education and IIT Kanpur. Launched in 2023, it\u00a0provides completely free personal AI-powered preparation and mentorship support\u00a0for\u00a0eight major competitive examinations: JEE, NEET, CLAT, ICAR, CUET, SSC, RRB and IBPS.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>SATHEE offers AI-based doubt resolution, Study Plan Generators, Confusion Detection Tools and Automatic transcript summarization. Recognising that students do not always study during fixed hours, the team integrated AI-powered features to support flexible learning.\u00a0<em>\u201cWe realised students don\u2019t always study from 10 to 6. So, we added AI features such as\u00a0AI Conventional Tour, Mnemonics and memory aids especially helpful for Gen Z learners and AI Visual Problem Solver\u00a0so they can study at home, anytime\u201d<\/em>,\u00a0Mr. Dhruv Garg, (Software Engineer at IIT Kanpur)\u00a0explains.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"Picture_x0020_9\" src=\"https:\/\/static.pib.gov.in\/WriteReadData\/userfiles\/image\/image005HYZH.jpg\" \/><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Students can generate personalised study plans based on available study hours in selected subjects. The system extracts key formulas and summaries from lecture transcripts and highlights recurring conceptual confusion.\u00a0The content is currently available in 13 Indian languages, with further expansion underway.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Mr. Garg also highlights that- early implementation in selected government schools has shown\u00a0encouraging outcomes with upto 50% increase in JEE and 80%increase in NEET qualifiers. The emphasis is on extending access, particularly for students who may not have the means for private coaching.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Turning Cameras into AI based Intelligent Systems<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>A short walk away, the conversation shifts\u00a0from education to\u00a0surveillance systems.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>At the stall of a decade old, Gurugram-based\u00a0iiris: Value Catalysts,\u00a0Mr.\u00a0Zia Ahmad, Manager &#8211; Security Design, explains the firm\u2019s approach of\u00a0integrating AI in the traditional security solutions. \u201c<em>Let\u2019s say you have a warehouse or real estate property. We begin with its comprehensive security risk assessment and design\u00a0AI Based security solutions\u00a0tailored to the requirements.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0he says.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Rather than replacing hardware, \u201ciiris\u201d\u00a0enhances conventional camera ecosystems with AI-driven software. He pointed out that\u00a0<em>\u201cEarlier, surveillance systems relied heavily on manual monitoring. If an incident occurred, the entire recording had to be reviewed, making the process extremely time-consuming and resource-intensive.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Mr. Ahmad explains<em>: Now,\u00a0with AI-enabled tools, a single command can retrieve all relevant information at once. Intelligent filtering narrows footage instantly based on attributes such as clothing colour or time span, while\u00a0integrated systems linking cameras, motion sensors and other devices generate real-time alerts, significantly enhancing speed and efficiency of response.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"Picture_x0020_10\" src=\"https:\/\/static.pib.gov.in\/WriteReadData\/userfiles\/image\/image006Y73T.jpg\" \/><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>The firm is currently conducting security risk assessments for major infrastructure projects, including\u00a0Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir, World\u2019s tallest Temple<a style=\"color: #3366ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/vcm.org.in\/square-feet-seva-campaign\/?source=google_Pmax_ad_Ind&amp;gad_source=1&amp;gad_campaignid=20923471800&amp;gbraid=0AAAAAo0AA6kLk_KE-jIBGI4E8Px_nrvzV&amp;gclid=Cj0KCQiA49XMBhDRARIsAOOKJHay3a4rQOoPU-BSpRTo99qsbiunxluZy4APLXssW_DORozWLTcuJQAaAoJgEALw_wcB\"><sup>3<\/sup><\/a>in Mathura. The emphasis, Mr. Ahmad notes, remains on structured risk mitigation supported by experienced professionals using AI.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Watching the Tracks before they fall<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Co-Founder of RailLabs: Railway Digital Safety, Mr. Sumit Anand\u00a0points to\u00a0Arista, the autonomous track inspection robot with pride.\u00a0Raillabs\u2019 Arista revolutionises\u00a0track maintenance by providing autonomous, AI-driven inspection capabilities.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>He says \u201c<em>It is trained based on its surroundings. We primarily use\u00a0ultrasonic flaw detection to identify cracks in the railway track, both surface-level and internal cracks\u201d.\u00a0<\/em>The robot also uses lasers for track profiling and AI-based vision cameras to detect cracks, Mr. Anand explains further that\u00a0<em>\u201cLet us say fish plates are missing, bolts are absent, or there are other structural defects, the system will detect them all.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>This significantly\u00a0increases inspection efficiency, by upto 200% compared to what is currently being done today by manual means,\u00a0he adds.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"Picture_x0020_11\" src=\"https:\/\/static.pib.gov.in\/WriteReadData\/userfiles\/image\/image00741XD.jpg\" \/><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Standing nearby,\u00a0Mr. Nischal Ranjan, Operational Manager at RailLabs, describes another product named\u00a0ChakrVue\u00a0which is already in the market. According to him, it is a\u00a0wheel shelling prediction system which predicts whether a train or coach wheel may chip or shell, preventing derailments. The product is already\u00a0operational in 20 LHB and Tejas coaches across cities including Mumbai, Agartala and Ranchi.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>He says \u201c<em>by identifying potential wheel defects before failure, the system strengthens preventive railway safety<\/em>.\u201d For the team,\u00a0digital safety is not about replacing human oversight but reinforcing it with precision.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>\u201c<em>Even a crack above two millimetres can be dangerous<\/em>,\u201d he says, explaining why early detection is not a technical luxury but a safety necessity.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Together these products promise to significantly enhance the safety ecosystem in the railways by early detection and preventing derailments. Use of AI in such practical scenarios can generate high quality results in real life.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong><em>Around these stories, the AI Summit gradually gathers momentum. Screens light up across the hall. Demonstration units hum softly.
