\nC-DOT and RRU enter into a collaborative partnership to establish a robust State-of-the-Art centre in the area of information and Communication Technologies<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

C-DOT will set up an Innovation cum Experience Centre at RRU, Gandhinagar for the development of cutting-edge Telecom and Cybersecurity Technologies<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT), the premier R&D centre of the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), Ministry of Communications, Government of India and Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU), Gandhinagar, an Institution of National Importance under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, sign a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for jointly collaborating on products in telecom and Cyber security domain.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Under, the MoU, C-DOT in coordination with RRU will set up an Innovation-cum-Experience Centre at RRU’s campus. The centre will spearhead collaborative research, innovation, and technology development in critical domains including: Cybersecurity, Quantum Technologies, AI\/ML, IoT\/M2M solutions, 5G networks and Mission Critical Services. The facility will serve as a hub for incubation, mentoring, and partnerships with startups, industry, and academia, fostering a vibrant innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem. It will also conduct training, capacity-building, and skilling programs to build an industry ready workforce.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

A key program of the collaboration is a focused project on C-DOT\u2019s indigenous cybersecurity solution, TRINETRA \u2013 a Unified AI-powered Cyber Security Solution. The centre will act as a dedicated platform for demonstrations, hands-on training, experiential learning, and capability building on TRINETRA. It will provide specialized exposure for stakeholders, including State Police, law enforcement agencies, government officials, and other authorized participants, to boost cybersecurity awareness, operational readiness, and skill development.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

This alliance aims to drive indigenous innovation, research, and skill development, aligning with India’s national priorities in managing risks associated with digital transformation.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Rajkumar Upadhyay, CEO, C-DOT said: “This MoU marks a significant step towards self-reliant innovation in telecom and cybersecurity, C-DOT is proud to collaborate with RRU to deploy TRINETRA and advance mission-critical technologies, empowering the next generation of innovators and defenders. The partnership underscores our commitment to national missions like Digital India, Atmanirbhar Bharat, and cybersecurity resilience\u201d.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe are entering a new era of agentic AI and autonomous cyber threats capable of identifying network vulnerabilities within seconds,\u201d said Prof. (Dr.) Kalpesh H. Wandra, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Rashtriya Raksha University. \u201cWith the expansion of 5G and the emergence of 6G technologies, the digital attack surface is expanding rapidly, making indigenous innovation and collaborative research essential for national security. By partnering with C-DOT, RRU is committed to nurturing talent and technologies that safeguard India’s digital future\u201d, he added.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The MoU was signed at the RRU campus in Gandhinagar in the presence of Dr. Rajkumar Upadhyay, CEO, C-DOT; Prof. (Dr.) Kalpesh H. Wandra, Pro Vice-Chancellor, RRU; Mr. Avinash Kharel, Dean \u2013 Affiliations and Accreditations, RRU; and Dr. Chandresh Parekh, Director \u2013 SITAICS, along with senior officials from both institutions.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
