The 12th edition of the triennial event is being held from\u00a05 to 10 February 2026\u00a0with the support of the\u00a0Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals (DCPC), Ministry of chemicals and fertilizers.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Organised under the theme\u00a0\u201cBharat Next\u201d, PLASTINDIA 2026 aligns with the Hon\u2019ble Prime Minister\u2019s vision of\u00a0Atmanirbhar Bharat\u00a0and\u00a0Viksit Bharat, providing a global platform to showcase India\u2019s growing capabilities in the plastics sector, manufacturing excellence, and circular economy initiatives.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>The exhibition features\u00a0over 2,000 international exhibitors\u00a0presenting advanced technologies, machinery, raw materials, and sustainable solutions across the plastics value chain. Notably, PLASTINDIA 2026 is being organised as a\u00a0Zero Waste Exhibition, ensuring segregation, recycling, and reuse of all solid waste generated during the event.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.pib.gov.in\/WriteReadData\/userfiles\/image\/image001WOYF.jpg\" \/><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.pib.gov.in\/WriteReadData\/userfiles\/image\/image002LBHH.jpg\" \/><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>A key highlight of the exhibition is the active participation of the\u00a0Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering &amp; Technology (CIPET), A national institution under DCPC and a founder member of the Plastindia Foundation. CIPET is showcasing its contributions in\u00a0skill development, research, and technological advancement\u00a0in the polymer and plastics sector, reinforcing its role in preparing a future-ready workforce.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.pib.gov.in\/WriteReadData\/userfiles\/image\/image0039IAE.jpg\" \/><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>The exhibition was visited by\u00a0Ms. Nivedita Shukla Verma, Secretary, Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, who interacted with industry representatives and students at the CIPET pavilion. During her interaction with students, she encouraged them to continuously upgrade their skills in line with global industry requirements and highlighted CIPET\u2019s evolving teaching methodologies aimed at strengthening industry-academia linkages. In her discussions with industry leaders, she reaffirmed the Government\u2019s commitment to fostering sustainable growth and enhancing global employment opportunities for Indian talent.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.pib.gov.in\/WriteReadData\/userfiles\/image\/image004QO67.jpg\" \/><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>PLASTINDIA 2026 is structured around five strategic pillars\u2014Trade, Technology, Talent, Tradition, and Tourism.
