These approvals are expected to generate\u00a033,791 direct employment opportunities.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>These approvals include manufacturing of 11 target segment products, which have cross sectoral application such as mobile manufacturing, telecom, consumer electronics, strategic electronics, automotive and IT hardware products. These 11 products are as follows:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>5 bare components like PCB, Capacitors, Connectors, Enclosures and Li-ion Cell<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>3 sub-assemblies like Camera Module, Display Module and Optical Transceiver<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>3 supply chain items like Aluminium Extrusion, Anode Material and Laminate (Copper Clad)<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"Picture_x0020_2\" src=\"https:\/\/static.pib.gov.in\/WriteReadData\/userfiles\/image\/image0010V8B.jpg\" \/><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>The approvals for\u00a0PCBs (including HDIs)\u00a0have been given to 9 applicants which include\u00a0<em>India Circuits Private Limited, Vital Electronics Private Limited, Signum Electronics limited, Epitome Components Private Limited, BPL Limited, AT &amp; S India Private Limited, Ascent-K Circuit Private Ltd, CIPSA TEC India Pvt Ltd and Shogini Technoarts Pvt Ltd<\/em>. Further, approval for manufacturing of\u00a0Capacitors, which are essential for energy storage and power conditioning in electronic circuits, has been awarded to\u00a0<em>Deki Electronics Limited<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>TDK India Private Limited<\/em>, a major global manufacturer of electronic components and systems. For manufacturing of high-speed\u00a0Connectors,\u00a0approval has been given to\u00a0<em>Amphenol High Speed Technology India Private Limited.\u00a0<\/em>Further,\u00a0approval for manufacturing of\u00a0Enclosures for Mobile, IT Hardware products and related devices\u00a0are granted to\u00a0<em>Yuzhan Technology (India) Private Limited<\/em>, a global manufacturer of electronic components,\u00a0<em>Motherson Electronic Components Private Limited<\/em>, a leading Indian manufacturer of electronic components and systems, and\u00a0<em>Tata Electronics Private Limited<\/em>, a leading Indian electronics manufacturer and a trusted global brand. Also, an application for manufacturing of\u00a0Li-ion cells for digital applications,\u00a0which serve as rechargeable energy storage units for consumer and industrial electronics, has been approved for\u00a0<em>ATLbattery Technology (India) Private Limited<\/em>, one of the leading global players in Li-ion cells manufacturing.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>In sub-assembly category,\u00a0approval has been given to\u00a0<em>Dixon Electroconnect Private Limited<\/em>\u00a0for manufacturing of\u00a0Optical Transceiver (SFP);\u00a0<em>Kunshan Q Tech Microelectronics (India) Private Limited<\/em>\u00a0for manufacturing of\u00a0Camera Module Sub Assembly;\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Samsung Display Noida Private Limited, one of the top global Electronics brands,<\/em>\u00a0for manufacturing of\u00a0Display Module Sub-Assembly.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Further, to deepen the electronics manufacturing supply chain, approvals have also been given to\u00a0<em>NPSPL Advanced Materials Private Limited\u00a0<\/em>for manufacturing of\u00a0Anode material\u00a0which is a critical item for lithium-ion cell manufacturing that determines energy density and life-cycle of Li-ion cells;\u00a0<em>Wipro Global Engineering and Electronic Materials Private Limited<\/em>\u00a0for manufacturing of\u00a0Laminate (Copper Clad),\u00a0which is the base material for PCB manufacturing and constitutes a significant part (~30%) of the bill of materials of PCB manufacturing; and\u00a0<em>Hindalco Industries Limited\u00a0<\/em>for manufacturing of\u00a0Aluminium Extrusion\u00a0for mobile phones enclosures, which are currently being 100% imported.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"Picture_x0020_4\" src=\"https:\/\/static.pib.gov.in\/WriteReadData\/userfiles\/image\/image002G5VP.jpg\" \/><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>The approved units are spread across eight states viz. Andhra Pradesh, Haryana, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan, reinforcing the Government\u2019s focus on geographically balanced industrial growth and expansion of electronics manufacturing across the country. With the latest tranche of approvals,\u00a0a total of 46 applications have been approved under the ECMS so far across 11 states, with a total\u00a0investment of Rs. 54,567 crores, generating\u00a0direct employment for about 51,000 people.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"Picture_x0020_6\" src=\"https:\/\/static.pib.gov.in\/WriteReadData\/userfiles\/image\/image0033ION.jpg\" \/><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Speaking on the occasion, Minister for Electronics and Information Technology Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw noted that this programme has strengthened India\u2019s electronics manufacturing ecosystem, enabling large portions of domestic demand to be met indigenously. Outlining the vision for the electronics sector, he noted that India would still be a very young demography in 2047 when growth would have stopped in many other economies. He added that India would be the only economy which will continue to grow till 2100 and hence it is important to set all the structural foundational blocks in place, so that the growth continues.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology Shri. Jitin Prasada said that India is being seen as the next big Electronics manufacturing destination and is emerging as a reliable partner amidst global geopolitical uncertainty.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Meity Secretary Shri S.
