Sixteen Central Trade Unions come together in support of the four Labour Codes at the Labour & Employment Summit\u20132025 organised by CONCENT<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n


\nTrade Union Representatives commit to enhance awareness on Labour Codes among workers across the country, and to actively counter misinformation<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Workers\u2019 welfare is central to Government\u2019s initiatives under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi, stresses Union Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The four Labour Codes guarantee minimum wages, mandatory appointment letters, social security for 40 crore workers, equal opportunities for women: Dr. Mandaviya<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Sixteen Central Trade Unions convened in support of the four Labour Codes at the Labour & Employment Summit\u20132025 in New Delhi today, and unanimously resolved to enhance awareness on Labour Codes among workers across the country and counter misinformation relating to the implementation of the four Labour Codes. The event, organised by the Confederation of Central Trade Unions (CONCENT), saw representatives of trade unions highlighting their commitment to ensure that intended benefits of the Labour Codes reach all workers across the country.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Summit was inaugurated by Union Minister for Labour & Employment and Youth Affairs & Sports, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya. Deliberations focused on the four Labour Codes notified on November 21, with over 200 trade-union leaders, workers associated with trade unions, senior representatives of employers\u2019 organisations, and social-security institutions from across the country taking part in the event.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Addressing the occasion, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya emphasised that workers\u2019 welfare has always been a focal point of the Government\u2019s initiatives under the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He elaborated on the need to make the Labour Codes effective to give primacy to workers\u2019 interests, and drew attention to the extensive dialogue between the government and trade unions in drafting the Codes, so as to take the concerns of workers into account while framing the provisions.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
