The event, organised by the Confederation of Central Trade Unions (CONCENT), saw representatives of trade unions highlighting their commitment to ensure that intended benefits of the Labour Codes reach all workers across the country.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.pib.gov.in\/WriteReadData\/userfiles\/image\/image002Y3L4.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>The Summit was inaugurated by Union Minister for Labour &amp; Employment and Youth Affairs &amp; Sports, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya. Deliberations focused on the four Labour Codes notified on November 21, with over 200 trade-union leaders, workers associated with trade unions, senior representatives of employers\u2019 organisations, and social-security institutions from across the country taking part in the event.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.pib.gov.in\/WriteReadData\/userfiles\/image\/image003IRZK.jpg\" \/><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Addressing the occasion, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya emphasised that workers\u2019 welfare has always been a focal point of the Government\u2019s initiatives under the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It ensures equal rights and equal opportunities for all women. The Codes ensure that no employer or individual can curtain the rights of the employees.\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Highlighting the enabling ecosystem that the Labour Codes will create to uphold workers\u2019 interests and ensure their protection, the Minister encouraged trade unions to continue sharing their inputs, and urged them to sensitise workers on the potential of the Codes to bring about a transformative impact in their lives.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.pib.gov.in\/WriteReadData\/userfiles\/image\/image004SC2G.jpg\" \/><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>The summit saw participation from Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS),\u00a0National Front of Indian Trade Unions\u00a0(NFITU), Trade Union Coordinating Committee (TUCC), HMKP, BRMGSU, NLO-INTUC, FFR, AIBEU, NFFWESCI, HMKU, KLU and FSUI, among a total of 16 central trade unions. P.
