\nA State-Level Seminar on the theme \u201cViksit Bharat\u2013 Traditional Knowledge and Sustainable Development: The Role of Teachers\u201d and Teachers\u2019 Felicitation Ceremony \u2013 2026 was successfully organized jointly by Choice College of Arts and Commerce, Warje, Pune, and the Foundation for Education and Community Welfare, Maharashtra State. The programme was held at Padamji Hall, Tilak Road, Pune.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Addressing the seminar, Dr. Prasad Khandagale, researcher and social activist, emphasized that teachers must make greater efforts to find solutions to present-day social, educational, and environmental challenges by effectively utilizing traditional knowledge. He stated that the vision of a developed India can be realized through a harmonious integration of Indian traditions, value systems, and modern education.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

On this occasion, Priyanka Chaudhary, writer and social activist, was present as a distinguished speaker. In her address, she urged teachers to inculcate a strong reading culture among students, stating that reading is the key to building a thoughtful and progressive society. She also highlighted the crucial role of education in women empowerment and social transformation.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The programme was presided over by Dr. Aftab Anwar Shaikh, Principal, Choice College of Arts and Commerce, Warje, Pune. While explaining the concept of the seminar, he highlighted the significant contribution of teachers in nation-building.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

During the felicitation ceremony, several prestigious awards including the Gnyandeep Best Teacher Award \u2013 2026, Lifetime Achievement Award \u2013 2026, Youth \u0917\u094c\u0930\u0935 Award \u2013 2026, and the Best School Award, along with other honors, were presented to teachers, schools, and individuals for their outstanding contributions in the field of education.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The cultural segment of the programme featured a traditional Powada performance by students of Camp Education \u2013 Cyrus Poonawalla School, which captivated the audience and added a vibrant cultural touch to the event.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The programme was compered by Mr. Yuvraj Haridas Tate, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Mr. Vilas Londhe, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to all dignitaries, award recipients, organizers, and attendees.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
