In acknowledgement of its comprehensive outreach efforts, innovative public engagement formats and inclusive communication strategy, the\u00a0GST & Customs Pavilion has bagged the Gold\u00a0<\/em>Prize in the \u2018Public Outreach and Communication\u2019 Category\u00a0at IITF 2025 in New Delhi, today.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) successfully showcased its flagship\u00a0\u2018GST & Customs Pavilion\u2019\u00a0at the\u00a0India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2025\u00a0in\u00a0New Delhi, from\u00a014th<\/sup>-27th<\/sup>\u00a0November 2025.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Built around the theme\u00a0\u201cNext-Gen GST:\u00a0\u0938\u0930\u0932\u00a0\u0915\u0930,\u00a0\u0916\u0941\u0936\u0939\u093e\u0932\u00a0\u0930\u093e\u0937\u094d\u091f\u094d\u0930\u201d, the Pavilion aimed at deepening public understanding of the Government of India\u2019s latest reforms in indirect taxation and trade facilitation. Designed as an interactive and educational space, the Pavilion served as an important public interface where\u00a0taxpayers, industry representatives, students, and citizens\u00a0could engage with CBIC\u2019s ongoing initiatives to simplify compliance and enhance service delivery.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The CBIC pavilion received overwhelming footfall and active participation from people across age groups, professions and sectors, reflecting strong public interest and optimism toward recent GST reforms.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Key Highlights of the CBIC Pavilion<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

1. Expert Helpdesks for Instant Support<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Eight helpdesks from GST, Customs, GSTN, ICEGATE and CPGRAMS provided quick, on-the-spot assistance with registration, refunds, return filing, grievances and trade procedures.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

2. Multilingual Learning Content<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Educational videos and tutorials\u2014available in 10 regional languages plus Hindi and English\u2014simplified GST and Customs processes for all visitors.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

3. Interactive Digital Exhibits<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Digital screens and interactive displays showcased CBIC\u2019s key reforms, technological upgrades and achievements, highlighting smoother, more transparent compliance systems.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

4. Engaging Awareness Activities<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Magic shows, puppet shows, quizzes, caricature artists, VR games and selfie corners made tax awareness fun and accessible, supported by informative brochures.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

5. Youth-Focused Career Guidance<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Dedicated sessions introduced students to career opportunities in CBIC and its role in revenue administration and trade facilitation.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
