Featuring five films developed by participants across five groups, the edition showcased diverse ideas shaped through collaborative effort. Held under the aegis of the 56th International Film Festival of India, the programme once again reaffirmed its purpose, discovering emerging storytellers and giving them the canvas, mentorship, and momentum to grow.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.pib.gov.in\/WriteReadData\/userfiles\/image\/WhatsAppImage2025-11-25at8.41.34PMNNHA.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>The ceremony began at Marriott with screenings for the Grand Jury and Great Grand Jury, followed by deliberations that shaped the final list of awardees. Participants, mentors, jury members, and representatives from the film fraternity gathered for a heartfelt celebration of craft and collaboration. Members of both juries were felicitated by Joint Secretaries of Ministry of Information &amp; Broadcasting &#8211; Dr. Ajay Nagabhushan and Dr. K K Nirala, Managing Director, NFDC Sh. Prakash Magdum, and CEO, ShortsTV Carter Pilcher.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.pib.gov.in\/WriteReadData\/userfiles\/image\/WhatsAppImage2025-11-25at8.41.35PMW5IA.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Award recipients of CMOT 2025 are as follows:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Best Film: The Paper Sky (Blue Team)<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Runner-Up Film: The Spit Show (Green Team)<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Best Director: Raghu Arav \u2013 The Paper Sky (Blue Team)<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Best Script: Vishwas K \u2013 The Spit Show (Green Team)<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Best Director of Photography: Ramiz Naveeth (Green Team)<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Best Actor: Arpit Raj (Blue Team)<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Best Actress: Sajumi Hamalkar \u2013 The Spit Show (Green Team)<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Certificates were presented to all participating teams in the presence of senior officials from the Ministry of Information &amp; Broadcasting, NFDC, IFFI, CMOT leadership, and ShortsTV.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Addressing the gathering, Chairman of the Great Grand Jury, Sh. Dharmendra praised the participants for their innovative approach, urging them to continue building stories with courage and sincerity. The evening concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by General Manager, NFDC Sh. Ajay Dhoke.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>A defining highlight of this year\u2019s CMOT was the remarkable performance of creators from the Create in India Challenge (CIC) \u2013 Season 1, an initiative of the WAVES programme. Since its inception in 2021, CMOT has grown steadily, with alumni screening at major global festivals, earning national recognition, and contributing significantly to India\u2019s creative economy.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong><u>About the Create in India Challenge (CIC)<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>The Create in India Challenge (CIC), a flagship initiative under the World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES) of the Ministry of Information &amp; Broadcasting, has rapidly grown into a global platform for emerging creative talent. Season 1 received nearly one lakh registrations, including over 1,100 international participants from more than 60 countries.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>From this pool, 750 finalists showcased their work at Creatosphere during WAVES 2025, representing innovation across animation, gaming, AI, XR, comics, music and other creative disciplines.
