{"id":1290,"date":"2021-07-06T20:55:36","date_gmt":"2021-07-06T15:25:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theeducationoverview.in\/?p=1290"},"modified":"2021-07-06T20:55:41","modified_gmt":"2021-07-06T15:25:41","slug":"union-education-minister-ramesh-pokhriyal-nishank-launches-nipun-bharat-programme-on-july-5-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theeducationoverview.in\/?p=1290","title":{"rendered":"Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal \u2018Nishank\u2019 launches NIPUN Bharat Programme on July 5, 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Union Minister for Education, Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal \u2018Nishank\u2019 on July 5, 2021 virtually launched a National Initiative for Proficiency in Reading with Understanding and Numeracy (NIPUN Bharat), for ensuring that every child in the country necessarily attains foundational literacy and numeracy by the end of Grade 3, by 2026-27.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>While launching the NIPUN Bharat, Pokhriyal said, this initiative will prove to be a strong pillar of the New Education Policy. He said, this initiative will help the children in developing learning and numerical skills during the primary schooling. He said, this will also enable the students to solve the basic problems with the better understanding of numeracy skills.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>The National Mission was launched in the presence of Minister of State, Shri Sanjay Dhotre, Smt. Anita Karwal, Secretary (SE&amp;L), senior officers from the Ministry, all States and UTs, Senior Policy Makers and Heads of Institutions.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>On this occasion, a short video, anthem and NIPUN Bharat Guidelines were also launched. This Mission, which has been launched under the aegis of the centrally sponsored scheme of Samagra Shiksha, will focus on providing access and retaining children in foundational years of schooling; teacher capacity building; development of high quality and diversified Student and Teacher Resources\/Learning Materials; and tracking the progress of each child in achieving learning outcomes.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Terming NIPUN Bharat a unique initiative, Minister of State for Education, Sanjay Dhotre said, this initiative will change the future of school education in the next five years.
