Wireless (mobile) subscription in urban areas increased from 638.49 million at the end of August 2025 to 640.17 million at the end of September 2025 and wireless (mobile) subscription in rural areas also increased from 528.54 million to 530.27 million during the same period. The shares of urban and rural wireless (5G FWA) subscribers in total wireless (5G FWA) subscribers were 58.85% and 41.15%, respectively at the end of September 2025.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Information on the wireless (5G FWA) subscriber base is available at\u00a0Annexure-V.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited have started reporting the number of UBR FWA subscribers w.e.f. the month of August 2025.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>UBR FWA subscription stood at 2.48 million at the end of September 2025 with subscriptions in urban and rural areas of 1.77 million and 0.71 million, respectively.
