Dear stakeholders,
It gives me immense pleasure to share that Amity Law School, Ranchi under the aegis of Amity University Jharkhand is going to organize One Day National Seminar on Child Rights and Child Protection vis- a-vis International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law on 18th July, 2021 ( 10 A.M. to 6 P.M. ) on virtual platform. PFA the Seminar Brochure and Program Flow for Inaugural Session of the Seminar herewith.
The topic being of utter relevance in the contemporary world, this Seminar is open to all and shall aim at generating awareness about the impact of treatment towards children which effects the development ladder of economy at regional and at international level. Child Abuse is emphasized as a principal inhibitor in child development. The Constitution of India also guarantees certain child rights covering basic issues, like ‘health’, ‘education’ and protection from ‘hazardous employment’ and ‘exploitation’. However, despite the existence of many legal provisions, the vulnerability of children in different dimensions cannot be undermined. The aim of the seminar is to generate awareness among the participants about their rights of the next generation during peace as well as armed conflict.
No charges (registration fees) shall be applicable for participating in the Seminar. All esteemed colleagues and students of Amity are welcome and invited to register themselves through Google Doc https://forms.gle/ XsozxpUdJwbUGg5Y8 for attending the Seminar.
